KOBI STORMS TO STUNNING WIN ON DEBUT IN PORSCHE AT PHILLIP ISLAND

Kobi Williams has taken a stunning race win on debut in Round 1 of the 2026 Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge, taking out the Jim Richards Endurance race, at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Williams fought through the field to take victory in a dramatic conclusion to Race 3, the first Jim Richards Enduro Cup race of the season.

Following an enthralling battle where Daniel Quimby took the lead from Xavier Avramides, a blown right rear tyre for Quimby saw Williams take the lead with one lap to go.

On Saturday, Williams had also set a new outright lap record for the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge series at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, lapping the 4.448 km (2.764 mi) in just 1:31.0850
